Appeal and Fashion

This lecture particularly interested me. I have always known that there are different styles of design but I have never really known the difference until now. For example, I knew there was a difference between modern and contemporary styles but I didn't know how to distinguish the differences. As a graphics student, this lecture got me thinking about my style of design. Do I tend to be a more contemporary artist? or is the work I do more classic. Like Andy Worhol I believe that every artist has their own personal style that shows in every piece of work.
